Ledga isn't showing any transactions. What should I check?+
- Make sure your bank sends transaction alerts to email, not just SMS. Most banks let you turn this on in their app or at a branch.
- Make sure the alerts go to the Gmail account you connected in Ledga.
- Check that your bank is on the supported list above.
- Open the Transactions tab and pull down to sync again.
My balance in Ledga doesn't match my bank.+
Ledga uses the balance in your most recent alert. If an alert was missed or arrived late, the figure can be out of date. It catches up when the next alert arrives. Your bank's app is always the official record.
A transaction has the wrong name or category.+
Tap it, change the name or category, then tap Create rule. Similar transactions, including past ones, will follow the rule.
Can Ledga read my other emails?+
Google's permission screen says read-only access to Gmail, but Ledga only ever searches for emails from bank alert addresses. Everything is processed on your phone and nothing is uploaded.
Can Ledga move my money?+
No. Ledga isn't connected to your bank. It only reads the alert emails your bank sends you.
I got a new phone. Where did my data go?+
Your transactions live only on your phone, so they don't transfer. Sign in on the new phone and reconnect Gmail, and Ledga will rebuild your history from your inbox. Rules and manual edits don't carry over.
